A great group of men's accessories from the Victorian Era - a collars & cuffs box w/4 collars & 5 cuffs.
Box - wood w/a paper covering.  6" x 5-1/2" x 4-1/2".  The covering is in shades of olive green w/a pattern of small cream flowers.  The top has 2 oval pictures - a nostalgic scene of an old barn  & a little boy & girl.  Brass latch in front w/an ornate scroll design.  The inside is lined w/cotton fabric in a shade of old rose.  Small circular compartment in the center for the cuffs.
Box condition - overall very good.  There is a little wear/age along the edges of the box - 1 small fray on the fabric lining - otherwise very good.
Collars & cuffs are all stiff - heavily starched. One pair of cuffs has blue & white stripes!
Collars are marked:  E&W- Hewlett, Peabody 16-1/2  -  Hurlston-Hewlwtt,Peabody  15  -  Silver Brand,Sedgwick,Geo. P. Ide & Co.-15  -  one is unmarked.
2 cuffs are marked:  Extra Heavy 3-Ply linen- 10-1/2 - 1 cuff is marked 10-1/2.  The pair of blue & white striped cuffs are marked 100.
Collars & cuffs also have some small, hand-written laundry markings.
Collars & cuffs condition - overall good - a few small storage marks - the single white cuff has a few storage spots.  Otherwise, all are very good.
