Description
Thank you for supporting a small business I strive to give every buyer a positive buying experience and I know it’s hard to buy things you can not touch, try on, evaluate in personso please take the time to read my full description/terms, view all picture, and address any questions before bidding/purchasing. Please take in to consideration the time it takes to photograph, list, research, pack, and ship my items.
This is something harder to find a late 19th century sterling bangle most Victorian silver bangles don’t survive. You are buying
VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER SLIP ON TYPE BANGLE marked inside sterling 223078. The 223078 is likely a patent number and using a patent date chart it dates 1880. Using a cloth tape measure this bangle measures 8 1/2” around the outside so if you normally wear a 7” bracelet this should fit. If you wear an 8” bracelet this will not fit. This piece weighs 17.1 grams.
The
condition is very good
no bends, or wear issues. The connection point where the bangle was soldered closed in manufacture is slightly visible there is a wavy spot (last picture).
