Produced in Minnesota by Nemadji Tile & Pottery Co and marketed as "Indian Pottery" .  Only the design was inspired in style of Southwestern Native Americans.  It was not produced by Native Americans.  The earth tone pottery with swirled bright colors was produced from 1929 thru 2001.  Originally all pieces were hand-thrown but most later pieces are molded from a colored or white clay, fired and left in a bisque or unglazed state.  Because of their unique application of the swirled colors, no two pieces are identical.
    Orange Swirl is predominant color
No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs
Marked "Nemadj Pottery USA" on bottom.
