Nemadji Pottery Vase & Bowl 80's to mid 90's vintage with Indian Head USA Stamp. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
These 2 pieces of Nemadji Pottery are in excellent condition.  They have been used as display only.  There are no chips, cracks or repairs performed on either piece.
As both pieces have been glazed on the inside (prior to 1972 shellac was used & glaze was discontinued in the mid 90's) and both have the Nemadji Pottery Indian Head U.S.A. stamp on the bottom (the stamp was used from 1980 until 2002 when they went out of business) that dates these 2 pieces to somewhere between 1980 and the mid 90's.
After these pots are made, glazed & fired revealing the beauty of the clay once fired, they are dipped into vats of water with various colors of paint giving them their unique & striking designs.  This makes each piece unique  and no 2 are exactly alike.  The exteriors are never glazed leaving the creamy matte finish.
The vase is about 5.38" tall, about 4.5" wide and the opening at the top is about 2.7" wide.
The bowl is about 2.8" tall, 4.8" wide and the opening is about 3.5" wide.
The name "Nemadji" roughly translates into "Left-Handed" in the Ojibwa (also known as Chippewa) language.  Although not crafted by Native Americans (aka Indians), the colors of the clay, the shapes & the unique coloring (along with the indian head stamp on the bottom) do give these that look that Nemadji Pottery is famous for.
