I do not have much experience with this machine and do not know anything about operating it other than watching youtube videos.  It is normally used to slit fabric into evenly sized strips for rug making.
I am listing this as preowned but I was told it is virtually new and has been stored for decades by the original owner.
It seems to operate as it should and created the strips/strings shown in the pictures when I ran a piece of cotton T shirt material thru it as well as a piece of paper.(see pictures)
All of the metal parts are shiny new with no wear, corrosion, or other signs of use.  In the pictures you can see that the pressure wheel is like new with no marks or engraving from pushing against the cutting wheel.  The plastic crank handle has no wear or marks on it and the pressure adjustment knob/wheel is in perfect unmarked condition.
There are a number of videos on You tube that explain its operation.  There are many different cutting wheels also available on Ebay for making different size strips.
The cutting wheel on the machine is very clean and sharp and did cut the strips shown.(see pictures)   It appears to cut five 1/8th" strips at a time.
This machine does have  Feb 1980 stamped on it which I think is the date of manufacture.
There is no corrosion, worn parts, damage, or other signs of use.  All parts are shiny new and look to be untouched.
