Excellent Victorian c1880s 9k Gold Pearl Peridot Slide Mesh Adjustable Bracelet

Presented is a beautiful antique 9ct gold slide bracelet. This is a Victorian
piece, very likely of English make, dating to around the 1870s-1880s. The
bracelet is made of very fine woven gold mesh, with a floral design in yellow
and rose gold for a focal point. The flower portion is set with real, natural
seed pearls, with a round cut light green peridot on either side. The bracelet
has a little latch and slide mechanism, so it can be adjusted to a variety of
sizes. Very clever and high quality craftsmanship in a classic Victorian form.
The bracelet is in excellent condition. The peridots and pearls are all
intact. The mesh is in great shape. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The bracelet is stamped 9 for 9ct (9kt) gold, as well as patent and what is
likely a maker's mark.
The bracelet is adjustable, with an interior circumference of 5 inches at the
smallest and 8 1/2 at the largest. The band is about 10.8 millimeters wide.
The bracelet weighs 21.9 grams.
