    Beautiful Antique Solid Gold Moonstone Bracelet
    Beautiful Victorian/Edwardian solid gold bracelet with 11 natural cabochon moonstones. Pictures cannot capture the glow of these stones and this bracelet looks so much better in person.
    Ancient Romans believed that moonstone was formed from frozen moonlight because of its unearthly shimmer.
    Moonstones of this color and clarity are becoming more difficult to find which makes this antique bracelet a beautiful jewelry piece and a great investment.
    Features
    Unmarked but electronic & acid tested positive for 10K+ solid gold.
    Total weight is 9.7 grams.
    11 gorgeous moonstones, cabochon cut, graduating in size and "collet" or "bezel" set.
    Bracelet length 6 1/2" closed.
    Antique box clasp with lock on the bottom.
    Stones are well matched - color blue adularescence and colorless body color.
    Eye clean with very minor natural inclusions only visible under jeweler's loupe magnification.
    Stone measurements in millimeters are:
    14 x 7, 12.5 x 5.5, 2 each 11.4 x 6, 9.5 x 5.6, 8.5 x 6, 2 each 7.5 x 5, 9.5 x 6.3, 9.5 x 6, 8 x 5.5
    Using an average depth of 4 mm the total carat weight of these gorgeous stones is a whopping 16 carats on the low side.
    Not sure of the age of this piece but from the design I estimate it to be late Victorian or early Edwardian era.
