Description
Available are two sets of antique pocket door hardware. Each set consists of two roller wheels, the mounting bracket for each, a set screw, the stop plate, and all the screws used to fasten them to the door (doors not included although I have them if interested- they are approximately 36" x 90".) I do not have the rail.Embossed on one side of the wheel portion is E.C. STEARNS & CO SYRACUSE NY. The other side has PAT'D JUNE 30 1885. There is even stylized Fleur De Lis and vines stamped on them.....Those silly Victorians, they embellished everything, even pocket door rollers which won't be seen once installed.
The mounting base measures 10.5" long x 1 3/8" wide. After mounting the base to the door, slide the wheel portion on and fasten with the set screw which also provides tension. When together, the base and wheel measures 6" tall x 10.5" long x 2.5" wide. The "stop" plate was mounted on the door where a handle or pull would normally go. Not sure of its function but the tongue lifts up and down. My husband suggested perhaps that is what prevents the door from getting lost in the pocket.
All patina is original, I brushed the dirt off for photography purposes. Everything functions as intended, the wheels roll easily on their bracket. Please clean to your standards.
Each set weighs 9 pounds 7 ounces and will ship via USPS ground at 11 pounds 4 ounces. Two sets are available.
