~ 1900s Bohemian Garnet Link Bracelet
~ 130 Rose Cut Pyrope Garnets with Open Backs for enhanced light play *Tested with my Presidium II.
~ 10 Rosettes with 9 gems each: 3/8” diameter, Center gem is 5mm, 8 smalls are 3mm
~ 10 Panels with Sets of 4: 1/4” square, 3mm each
~ Tongue & Groove Clasp Stamped 900, S7, & a mark that is so small & blurry, I cannot make it out
~ The last 2 photos (for reference only) depict Bohemian Garnet jewelry from 1896 & 1899 catalogs. The bracelets at the bottom with the rosettes are very similar to the one offered here and have the same link connectors. Some Boho Garnet pieces were set in Gold (as on the 1899 page), but the vast majority were sterling or 900 silver with a light gilding.
CONDITION:
Superb
Antique condition
with very minor metal surface wear noticeable on close inspection. No chips on the gems that I could detect. Secure clasp. As mentioned, the gilding has mostly worn away. Please view all photos to judge for yourself.
