    Description

For your consideration is an 1858 Signed Victorian/Grand Era Floral Design Gold Filled Bracelet. Inside of the bracelet it is stamped “Patented August 31, 1858. This gorgeous piece has elastic inside the metal. Both sides of the bracelet pull apart to expand it and put it on. The elastic is still very firm and the bracelet closes beautifully! This type of of closure is indicative of bangle bracelets for that time period. I cannot say what the gold content is …. Although it was made 10 years after the California Gold Rush…whatever the karat is… it has been well protected and well loved over the years! Weighs 14 grams. Tiny bracelet. If Abe Lincoln saw this I have no doubt he’d of bought it for Mary Todd Lincoln. Of course he wasn’t even on the campaign trail at the time…. Probably tied up with his law practice. Anyway, Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. The photos are very important!!! I ship them same day if possible. I also have a 💯# rating. I Always accept returns if you aren’t satisfied.
